RAC Update – 4/11/2007


Blaise Gaston continues to mill the elements for the trim that will need to be reconstructed. 


The electrical system is starting be trimmed out on the second floor and the electricians have almost finished running the conduit.

The trenches in the cellar and the builder’s trench around the bunker continue to be filled.

Floor registers also continue to be installed throughout the first floor.

M-009 (Nelly’s Kitchen)

The masons are installing and re-securing riven heart-pine lath on the ceiling of this space.   


The fireplace is being reconstructed in this room.

M-211 (Chamber) 

Mac Ward and Austin Atrim have almost finished trimming this space.

M-212 (Southwest Chamber) 

This room is being prepped for trim installation.  Also, repairs are being made to the flooring on the south end where the duPont had installed water/soil pipes and bathroom fixtures. 

Chinese Rails 

Ed Gomez is installing the trim board that forms the base around the exterior perimeter of the railings.
